Unlock Your Potential: Introduction to the CliftonStrengths Assessment

Transcript

To measure the talents that show up frequently in an individual's life, we use the CliftonStrengths assessment. This assessment distills your talents down into 34 different strengths, helping you give a name to what it is you do best. To begin, you'll choose a report in order to take the assessment. Choose the report that makes the most sense for you because the assessment is the same for each one. Once you've chosen and purchased your report, you'll complete the assessment, which is made up of paired statements that you'll respond to based on instinct. These items will get to the heart of Who You Are. You'll want to minimise distractions in your environment. Set aside enough time to complete the assessment and most importantly, respond to the statements as honestly as you can, then discover your results. It's that easy. As you learn about your strengths you'll see that they're a part of everything you do - your work, your relationships, your hobbies, all of them reflect what you do best. Now that you'll have specific words to identify your talents as well as your report and other resources that give you a language to define those talents, you can put them to work. In fact, those who use their strengths see many positive outcomes at work and in life. They're more likely to be engaged in their jobs, strongly agree that they have the opportunity to do what they do best every day, report having an excellent quality of life and more. yaking the assessment is only the beginning. Growing and developing your unique strengths is a journey that will last your whole life
